摘要:In vivo genome editing has the potential to address many inherited and environmental disorders. However, a major hurdle for the clinical translation of genome editing is safe, efficient delivery to disease-relevant tissues. 摘要:Type 1 ryanodine receptor (RyR1) is a Ca2+ release channel in the sarcoplasmic reticulum in skeletal muscle. 摘要:Plasmodium falciparum pathology is driven by the accumulation of parasite- infected erythrocytes in blood capillaries. This sequestration process is mediated by the parasite's P. falciparum erythrocyte membrane protein 1 (PfEMP1) adhesins, which bind select endothelial cell receptors. 摘要:The Ghd7 (Grain number, plant height, and heading date 7)gene integrates red light signals and circadian rhythms to control floral repression under long-day conditions in rice. 摘要:Adenylosuccinate lyase (ADSL), an enzyme that is crucial for purine biosynthesis, carries an amino acid substitution that is present in almost all humans today but absent in Neandertals and Denisovans. This substitution reduces the stability of the enzyme, but what functional consequences it has are unknown.
