摘要:Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) has the world's largest projected increase in demand for food. Increased dependence on imports makes SSA vulnerable to geopolitical and economic risks, while further expansion of agricultural land is environmentally harmful. 摘要:Methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP) gene deletions are frequent in human cancers. Loss ofMTAP leads to significantly increased cellular levels of methylthioadenosine (MTA), a cellular metabolite and specific inhibitor of the cell-essential enzyme Protein Arginine Methyltransferase-5 (PRMT5).
