摘要:Small and fragmented populations are at high risk of local extinction, in part because of elevated inbreeding and subsequent inbreeding depression. A major conservation priority is to identify the mechanisms and extent of inbreeding depression in small populations. 摘要:Water droplets, acting as natural bioreactors and optical whispering- gallery- mode ous droplet lasers can only survive in air with a limited lifespan (<100 s) due to rapid evaporation, restricting their applications in bioreactions. To address this challenge, we introduce laser- emitting aqueous bioreactors (LEABs) in fluorocarbon oils. These LEABs enable stable laser emission and extend a droplet lifespan over 1,000- fold. 摘要:DNA secondary G-quadruplex (G4) structures can impair and even obstruct DNA replication. Defects in processing G4 structures are associated with replication stress, a common property of both B cell cancers and hyperproliferative premalignant cells. 摘要:Type 1 ryanodine receptor (RyR1) is a Ca2+ release channel in the sarcoplasmic reticulum in skeletal muscle. 摘要:Plasmodium falciparum pathology is driven by the accumulation of parasite- infected erythrocytes in blood capillaries.
