摘要:Spreading depolarizations (SDs) have been identified in various brain pathologies. SDs increase the cerebral energy demand and, concomitantly, oxygen consumption, which indicates enhanced synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by oxidative phosphorylation. 摘要:Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive form of brain cancer, with limited therapeutic options. While microglia contribute to GBM progression, the mechanisms by which they foster a protumorigenic immune environment remain poorly understood. 摘要:Defining wealth broadly to include wealth in people, relational connections, and material possessions, we examine the prehistory of wealth inequality at the level of the residential units using the consistent proxy of Gini coefficients calculated across areas of contemporaneous residential units.
