摘要:Plasma membrane (PM) stains are important organelle markers for monitoring membrane morphology and dynamics. The state-of-the-art PM stains are bright, specific, fluorogenic, and compatible with superresolution imaging. However, when recording membrane dynamics using advanced fluorescence microscopes, PM is prone to photo-dynamic damage introduced by dyes due to its phospholipid bilayer nature. 摘要:Thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency in marine systems is a globally significant threat to marine life. In 2020, newly hatched Chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) fry in California's Central Valley (CCV) hatcheries swam in corkscrew patterns and died at unusually high rates due to a lack of this essential vitamin.
