摘要:Analyses of investment banks acting as advisers for merger and acquisition transactions in the United Kingdom during 1992-2001 are used to examine the relationship between structural holes in a firm's network and its performance. 摘要:This study uses unobtrusive measures of the narcissism of chief executive officers (CEOs)-the prominence of the CEO's photograph in annual reports, the CEO's prominence in press releases, the CEO's use of first-person singular pronouns in interviews, and compensation relative to the second-highest-paid firm executive-to examine the effect of CEO narcissism on a firm's strategy and performance. 摘要:This paper examines contracting between a principal and an agent from the perspective of both social exchange theory and rational choice theory. Two experiments were conducted that tested competing predictions from the two theories. 摘要:A field study of 29 resource-constrained firms that varied dramatically in their responses to similar objective environments is used to examine the process by which entrepreneurs in resource-poor environments were able to render unique services by recombining elements at hand for new purposes that challenged institutional definitions and limits. 摘要:This paper explores the sequential structure of work processes in a task unit whose work involves high numbers of exceptions, low analyzability of search, frequent interruptions, and extensive delibration and that cannot be characterized as routine under any traditional definition.
