摘要:Relief services provided by corporations to employees following a natural disaster were expected to be associated with reduced levels of employee strains. Data from 143 hurricane victims partially supported this prediction, revealing that tangible support meeting employees' primary needs had the most numerous effects over the course of the disaster aftermath.

摘要:This study examined the sequential entry process of Japanese electronic manufacturing firms into the United States during the period 1976-89. The firms first entered their core businesses and those in which they had a strong competitive advantage over local firms to reduce the hazard of failure. Learning from early entries enabled them to launch further entries into noncore businesses and into areas of weaker competitive advantage. 摘要:The reported research examined the usefulness of placing risk propensity and risk perception in a more central role in models of risky decision making than has been done previously, Specifically, this article reports on two studies that examined a model in which risk propensity and risk perception mediate the effects of problem framing and outcome history on risky decision-making behavior, Implications of the pattern of results for future research are discussed.

摘要:Relationships among levels of involvement between customers and suppliers, customers' evaluations of core and peripheral factors in their transactions, and customers' overall satisfaction were examined. 摘要:This study examined relationships among job scope, perceived fit between job demands and ability, and stress. Data on scope and stress were provided by 418 full-time employees. Ratings of job complexity from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) and the Occupational Prestige Index (OF) also measured job scope. 摘要:A model incorporating antecedents and outcomes of measures of manager-rated employee affective and continuance commitment was tested with 231 managers and 339 subordinates.
