摘要:In an effort to respond to concerns regarding academic rigor expressed in the 1950s, management researchers turned to more established disciplines to help develop a stronger intellectual climate. 摘要:This article explores multilevel relationships between group-level OCB, individual-level OCB, and work performance. We also discuss conceptualizing OCB with regard to context and multiple levels of analysis. We hypothesize that group-level OCB moderates the relationship between individual-level OCB and job performance. 摘要:Drawing on a cross-organizational sample of 163 supervisor-subordinate dyads from mainland China, we examined the moderating effect of power distance and Chinese traditionality on relationships between perceived organizational support and work outcomes. 摘要:Our study investigates rivalry between multinational enterprises (MNEs) in host country markets. 摘要:We show how knowledge-based and incentive-based perspectives complement each other to explain the effects of acquisitions on the productivity of inventors from acquired firms. 摘要:We develop a dual-tuning perspective concerning how positive and negative moods interact to influence creativity in supportive contexts. Using data on employees in an oil field services company, we hypothesized and found that when supervisors provided a supportive context for creativity and positive mood was high, negative mood had a strong, positive relation to creativity, with creativity being the highest when the context was supportive and both positive and negative moods were high. 摘要:We develop an integrative theory regarding the effects of mean levels and dispersion of satisfaction predicting absenteeism. Differential interactive predictions are derived for two satisfaction foci and tested in two distinct samples.
