摘要:Taking a theoretical perspective contrasting resource exploitation with resource exploration, we argue that foreign direct investments' (FDIs') hazard rates are lower in countries that are either more or less developed than a home country than are FDIs' hazard rates in countries of similar economic development. 摘要:In this paper, I examine the impact of partner technological diversity and alliance organizational form on firm innovative performance. Using a sample of 463 R&D alliances in the telecommunications equipment industry, I find that alliances contribute far more to firm innovation when technological diversity is moderate, rather than low or high. 摘要:We investigate the relationships between two types of change-oriented leadership (transformational leadership and managerial openness) and subordinate improvement-oriented voice in a two-phase study. 摘要:A decision to offer breakfast to homeless people led to radical change in a church and its environment. Existing theories of change do not fully explain observations from our qualitative study; however, complexity theory constructs suggest how and why such change emerged. We offer four key findings. 摘要:Drawing on the concept of relational embeddedness and the associated mechanisms of mutual understanding, trust, and commitment, we examine how leaders' prior exchange experiences influence the likelihood of subsequent interorganizational exchange.
