摘要:The mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) pathway regulates cell growth and metabolism in response to many environmental cues, including nutrients. Amino acids signal to mTORC1 by modulating the guanine nucleotide loading states of the heterodimeric Rag GTPases, which bind and recruit mTORC1 to the lysosomal surface, its site of activation. 摘要:Skeletal muscle atrophy is a morbidity and mortality risk factor that happens with disuse, chronic disease, and aging. 摘要:Homologous recombination (HR) is essential for the maintenance of genome stability. During HR, Replication Protein A (RPA) rapidly coats the 3 '- tailed single- strand DNA (ssDNA) generated by end resection. 摘要:The Earth's rotation has been decelerating throughout its history due to tidal dissipation, but the variation of the rate of this deceleration through time has not been established. We present a detailed analysis of eight geological datasets to constrain the Earth's rotational history from 650 to 240 Mya. 摘要:Upstream frameshift 1 (UPF1) is an RNA helicase involved in a number of mRNA regulatory processes including nonsense- mediated decay. 摘要:Elevated temperatures persisted for an anomalously protracted interval following pulsed volcanic carbon release associated with the end- Permian mass extinction, deviating from the expected timescale of climate recovery following a carbon injection event.
