摘要:Processivity clamps mediate polymerase switching for translesion synthesis (TLS). All three Escherichia coli TLS polymerases interact with the (32 processivity clamp through a conserved clamp- binding motif (CBM), which is indispensable for TLS. Notably, Pol IV also interacts weakly with the rim of the clamp through non-CBM residues. 摘要:Approximately 30% of patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) progress to secondary acute myeloid leukemia (sAML) via accumulating gene mutations. 摘要:Cochlear outer hair cells (OHCs) are electromotile and implicated in amplification of responses to sound that enhance sound sensitivity and frequency tuning. They send afferent information through glutamatergic synapses onto type II spiral ganglion neurons (SGNs). These synapses are weaker than those from cochlear inner hair cells onto type I SGN, suggesting that type II SGNs respond only to intense sound levels. 摘要:A standard assumption in game theory is that decision- makers have preplanned strategies telling them what actions to take for every contingency. 摘要:Alzheimer's disease (AD) affects more than 10% of the population >= 65 y of age, but the underlying biological risks of most AD cases are unclear. We show anti-poly-glycine-arginine (a-polyGR) positive aggregates frequently accumulate in sporadic AD autopsy brains (45/80 cases).
