摘要:We theorize about how CEOs' expressions of humor affect infomediaries' social evaluations of their organizations. Differentiating four types of CEO humor-(1) affiliative, (2) self-enhancing, (3) self-defeating, and (4) aggressive-we propose that each type induces distinct states of mind in infomediaries as well as attributions about the CEO. 摘要:Prior research on experimental strategy suggests that choices about when and how to experiment on a business idea involve comparing an experiment's informativeness and cost. 摘要:In this paper, we conceptualize the institutional parasite and examine its role in institutional change and maintenance. Institutional parasites are a widespread group of illegitimate actors that undermine the institution their livelihood depends on. Through their illegitimate activities, they may alert institutional functionaries: elite institutional actors capable of maintaining and changing the institution. 摘要:We advance a theoretical framework of how entrepreneurial ideas of employees are commercialized as a function of their uncertainty, firm -specificity, and appropriability.
