摘要:Misregulation of the activity of GCN2, the kinase that phosphorylates and inactivates translation initiation factor eIF2 alpha, has been implicated in several health disorders, underscoring the need to determine the mechanisms controlling GCN2 activation. 摘要:In metals, electrons in a magnetic field undergo cyclotron motion, leading to oscillations in physical properties called quantum oscillations. This phenomenon has never been seen in a robust insulator because there are no mobile electrons. We report an exception to this rule.
