摘要：We use Facebook data to study Syrian migrants' social integration in Germany, establishing five findings: (1) Migrants' social integration varies across regions, driven by causal, place-based effects. (2) This spatial variation reflects how frequently Germans befriend neighbors and how likely they are to befriend migrants versus other Germans. 摘要：Using field experimental data (study time tracking and randomized incentives), we identify a structural model of learning. Student effort is influenced by external costs/benefits and unobserved heterogeneity: motivation (willingness to study) and productivity (conversion rate of time into skill). We estimate academic labor supply elasticities and skill technology. Productivity and motivation are uncorrelated. 摘要：We provide new estimates of spillover effects of unions on nonunion wages. We work with a search and bargaining model, endogenizing union formation and including firm responses to unionization threats. Unions affect nonunion wages through a standard threat channel (firms raise wages to fend off unionization) and a bargaining channel (union jobs are part of worker outside options). 摘要：We consider estimation and inference for a regression coefficient in panels with interactive fixed effects (i.e., a factor structure). 摘要：How efficiently do markets reallocate capital in booms and busts? Using a novel dataset of offshore drilling contracts, I examine the role of matching in shaping industry reallocation. Oil companies search and match with capital (rigs) in a decentralized market. 摘要：This paper uses three decades of data on rhesus monkeys to investigate the multigenerational effects of early-life advantage. Monkeys and their offspring are both randomly assigned to be reared together or apart from their mothers.
