摘要:For a two-celled chi-square where d is the discrepancy between the observed and expected frequency, X2 is the value of chi-square at the required level of confidence for 1 d.f., and N is the number of cases, the relationship is graphed for X2 at the .01 and .05 levels of confidence. From the graph, the size of d may be compared with N to determine whether the discrepancy exceeds chance expectancy at or beyond these levels of confidence.

摘要:74 students enrolled in an elementary psychology course taught through 2 weekly television sessions and 2 weekly discussion-group sessions were asked (1) whether they would take another course using television and (2) whether the on-campus discussion added anything. 70% of the Ss answered YES to the first question, and 42% answered YES to the second. Open-ended responses revealed reasons for the answers given.

摘要:101 high school seniors, who had taken the Diagnostic Reading Test, read ten 100-word passages judged to be of equal interest but varied systematically in Reading Ease score from 5 to 95 at 10-point intervals and took brief objective-type Comprehension Tests on them. 摘要:Normative data on the AGCT, Bennett, and Revised Minnesota Paper Form Board tests are reported for 1,011 students enrolling in a large, privately endowed industrial institute.
