摘要:This paper links research streams on group theory involving and maintenance functions, on team recesses as intervening variables and on top management team structure and financial performance within different environmental contexts over time. The paper investigates the relationship between top management team structure (demography) and firm subsequent performance by developing and investigating an intervening group process model of the relationship between team structure and performance.

摘要:This paper addresses an important problem in health care management. It explores the theoretical relations among organizational and environmental characteristics and measures of efficiency and effectiveness. The paper develops need fulfillment as a measure of organization effectiveness. An interesting implication for organization theory is the findings that suggest that legitimacy does not enhance efficiency and that legitimacy and efficiency may be entirely independent variables.

摘要:This article integrates a diverse set of ideas to provide a new perspective on emotional displays as part of organizational behavior. Data are gathered on the micro interaction processes and emotions displayed during professional medical service encounters.
