摘要:Cover-ups of unethical actions are undesirable and often costly. However, existing theory is unclear on when and why some cover-ups are punished less severely by in-group third parties compared to out-group third parties. 摘要:In this paper, we develop and test theory to explain how employees' perceptions of supervisor justice behavior are subjectively influenced by optimistic and pessimistic states. 摘要:Drawing on the literature on entrepreneurship and competitive dynamics, we investigate how technological overlap between spinouts and parent firms influences corporate investors' decisions regarding investments in spinouts. 摘要:This paper contributes to the resource dependence theory and corporate political activity literatures by distinguishing dependence from uncertainty and explaining how two different types of uncertainty have opposite effects on dependence management. 摘要:Common wisdom suggests that high-risk strategies will be associated with high expected returns and vice versa. Focusing on the effect of new product development on firm performance, in this paper we argue that this relationship may reverse in a market undergoing substantial institutional transition.
