摘要:Using qualitative and quantitative methods, I draw on the categorization and stigmatization literatures to predict the amount of negative social evaluations-that is, disapproval-received by firms. Association with a stigmatized category does not automatically result in disapproval, because straddling multiple categories dilutes stakeholder attention to the stigma. 摘要:In this study, we theoretically identify three dimensions of expatriate competencies ability, motivation, and opportunity seeking for knowledge transfer. Integrating the ability-motivation-opportunity framework and the absorptive capacity perspective, we propose that expatriate competencies in knowledge transfer influence a subsidiary's performance through the knowledge received by the subsidiary, but that this indirect effect is stronger when subsidiary absorptive capacity is greater. 摘要:Pay dispersion in interdependent work settings is virtually universally argued to be detrimental to performance. We contend, however, that these arguments often confound inequality with inequity, thereby overestimating inequity concerns. 摘要:This research investigated the role of contemplation, conversation (conceptualized as social contemplation), and explanation in right-wrong decisions. 摘要:We theorized and tested the conditions under which cognitive team diversity is positively related to individual team member creativity. Hierarchical linear modeling results using 316 employees on 68 teams from Chinese companies indicated that a team member's creative self-efficacy moderated the relationship between cognitive team diversity and individual creativity: this relationship was positive only when creative self-efficacy was high.
