摘要:An archival study was conducted using 250 offender descriptions by witnesses of armed bank robberies. The accuracy of the descriptions was gauged against authentic video documentation of the witnessed crimes. In general, witnesses provided accurate descriptions of the offenders but reported few identifying details. 摘要:Meta-analysis was used to aggregate results from studies examining the relationship between intelligence and leadership. One hundred fifty-one independent samples in 96 sources met the criteria for inclusion in the meta-analysis. 摘要:Two studies were conducted to examine the implications of an apology versus a denial for repairing trust after an alleged violation. 摘要:Ninety-nine police officers, not identified in previous research as belonging to groups that are superior in lie detection, attempted to detect truths and lies told by suspects during their videotaped police interviews. Accuracy rates were higher than those typically found in deception research and reached levels similar to those obtained by specialized lie detectors in previous research. 摘要:In this study, the authors reviewed the definition of emotional intelligence (EI) and argued that El is conceptually distinct from personality. 摘要:This study examined mechanisms of strain crossover within couples and the moderating role of gender.
