摘要:Four perspectives on the review processes of scientific journals were employed heuristically to examine the AMJ review process from 1984 through 1987. Results indicated modest support for hypotheses derived from accumulative advantage and particularism perspectives and more substantial support for hypotheses derived from gatekeeping and reviewer style perspectives. 摘要:This study examined the role of employee assessments of psychological and material factors in predicting the outcome of a contract ratification vote. The results show that both the material aspects of the contract settlement at hand and how members feel about their union and their jobs have an important impact on the ratification outcome.

摘要:In this study, we proposed that union members would be more similar in their attitudes toward bargaining-related outcomes during contract negotiation years than union members at other stages of the bargaining cycle.
