摘要:After nearly 50 years of searching, the vacuum ultraviolet 229Th nuclear isomeric transition has recently been directly laser excited1,2 and measured with high spectroscopic precision3. 摘要:The gut mycobiota is crucial for intestinal homeostasis and immune function1. Yet its variability and inconsistent fungal colonization of laboratory mice hinders the study of the evolutionary and immune processes that underpin commensalism2,3. 摘要:Fructose aids tumour growth, but cancer cells usually lack the enzymes needed to metabolize this sugar. The liver converts dietary fructose to lipids that enter the blood, and cancer cells use the lipids to make membranes for proliferation.
