摘要:We argue that the norms underlying agency theory can be inappropriate for interpreting the ethicality of corporate governance decisions and behaviors of Russians because they were developed in countries with mature market-oriented economies. We posit that integrative social contracts theory has more explanatory power, taking market-oriented values. 摘要:This paper was motivated by the growing interest of scholars of multinational corporations (MNCs) in the institutional perspective. Our review of the literature suggests that international management applications of this perspective have been dominated by a narrow set of neoinstitutional ideas. 摘要:This special topic forum was designed to stimulate theory development on corruption in organizational life as a systemic and synergistic phenomenon. Given the multiple perspectives and bodies of literature that can be brought to bear on the phenomenon. we introduce the forum with a micro view, macro view, wide view, long view, and deep view of organizational corruption. These views suggest that there is much need for conceptual work that is integrative, interactionist, and processual in nature.

摘要:We argue that we can reach a better understanding of the relationships between firm resources and competitive advantage by considering actions that firms take against their rivals' resources in factor markets and political markets. 摘要:This article fleshes out a recently introduced and empirically grounded framework of organizational identity orientation, which refers to the nature of assumed relations between an organization and its stakeholders as perceived by members.
