摘要:We tested the job demands-job control model of stress with a group of 136 registered nurses. Significant interactions between subjective and objective measures of work load and a measure of perceived control predicting physiological and attitudinal outcomes indicated support for the model. 摘要:This research examined perceptions of ethics on the premise that such perceptions have important implications for ethical behavior in organizations. Various raters assessed managers' ethics; subordinates and peers provided the least favorable assessments, which were directly related to perceptions of leadership but inversely related (for ratings by subordinates) to salary data. Implications for fostering ethical behavior in organizations are discussed.

摘要:This study examined the performance effects of information asymmetry and economies of scope in diversified service firms. 摘要:This study investigated differences in the psychological involvement and task assignments of labor-contractor and employee engineers and the effects of the contractors on the attitudes of their employee coworkers. This article presents an expanded typology of family structure that includes spousal employment status. 摘要:Data envelopment analysis shows promise for generating objective estimates of pay equity. Applied to performance and salary data for 433 professional baseball players, data envelopment analysis identified objectively underpaid, equitably paid, and overpaid players. The output also identified relevant referents for each player and quantified the relative influences of referents and all variables.
