摘要：We report the results of two experiments designed to better understand the mechanisms driving decision making under ambiguity. We elicit individual preferences over different sources of uncertainty, entailing different degrees of complexity, from subjects with different sophistication levels. 摘要：I partially identify the marginal treatment effect (MTE) when the treatment is misclassified. I explore two restrictions, allowing for dependence between the instrument and the misclassification decision. If the signs of the propensity scores' derivatives are equal, I identify the MTE sign. 摘要：Research on policing has focused on documented actions such as stops and arrests-less is known about patrols and presence. We map the neighborhood movement of nearly 10,000 officers across 21 of America's largest cities using anonymized smartphone data. Police spend 0.36% more time in neighborhoods for each percentage point increase in Black residents. 摘要：This paper exploits spatial quasiexperimental variation around French departmental borders to provide novel evidence that regional borders disturb surrounding economic activity; namely, commuting flows, catchment areas, and residential density. 摘要：We document the effect of unemployment insurance generosity on divorce and fertility using an identification strategy that leverages state-level changes in maximum benefits over time and comparisons across workers who have been laid off and those that have not been laid off. The results indicate that higher maximum benefit levels mitigate the effects of layoffs. 摘要：wE exploit an unanticipated labor market reform to estimate the effects of procyclical changes in long-term unemployment assistance (UA). In July 2012, Spain raised the minimum age to receive unlimited- duration UA from 52 to 55. 摘要：We analyze the impact of Covid-19 on productivity using datafrom an innovative monthly firm survey that asks for quantitative impactsof Covid-19 on inputs and outputs.
