摘要：This paper examines spillovers in the use of digital technologies from formal to informal businesses by exploring differences in geographic proximity. Using a unique set of geocoded data from the 2019 World Bank Enterprise Surveys in Zambia, the findings indicate that geographic proximity to formal firms is associated with a significantly higher likelihood of digital adoption by informal businesses. 摘要：A series of recent papers demonstrate that mobile phone metadata can, together with machine learning, estimate the wealth of individual subscribers and accurately target cash transfer programs. 摘要：This paper studies the aftermath of unsuccessful antidumping investigations that failed to achieve positive antidumping findings or antidumping duties against foreign exporters. 摘要：This study examines the impact of anti-corruption campaigns on regional economic development in a developmental state with weak market-supporting institutions. 摘要：In China, state owners make minority equity investments in private firms. We study the allocative implications of such government investments using a two-sector DSGE model with financial friction and idiosyncratic productivities. In our model, private owners are more productive than state owners but face tighter financial constraints. Equity investment by a state owner alleviates the private owner's financial constraint but dampens its own productivity, consistent with Chinese firm-level data....

摘要：Expanding irrigation in sub-Saharan Africa is widely viewed as a promising strategy for closing yield gaps and enhancing resilience to climate change.
