摘要:Glucuronidation is a detoxification process to eliminate endo- and xeno- biotics and neurotransmitters from the host circulation. Glucuronosyltransferase binds these compounds to glucuronic acid (GlcA), deactivating them and allowing their elimination through the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
