摘要:This paper addresses the often discussed, but underresearched topic involving organization design I and ethical outcomes. The paper's central contribution derives from its innovative extension of the J. D. Thompson framework to ethical climate theory and empirically investigating some key constructs. The paper should serve to motivate and stimulate research on designing value rational organizations.

摘要:The authors have undertaken an impressive retrospective analysis of the impacts of computer-based decision conferences on organizational decision making. Much research attention has been given to design and evaluation of decision conferences and other group decision support systems, but this is the first study to examine the long-term impacts of using computer-based procedures for strategic-level organizational decision making. The authors' methodology is innovative and the findings insightful.

摘要:This paper explores the paradoxes and competing values inherent in leadership behavior. Scales for eight leadership roles are developed, providing empirical data about 176 executives. The article contributes to the theoretical understanding of the paradoxes of leadership and introduces the concept of behavioral complexity to understand leader behavior and integrate theoretical findings in the leadership literature.

摘要:Important new theoretical and research possibilities emerge when we think of processes in organizations as if they are a grammar in language. This paper provides adopting the metaphor of grammar to understand sequences of actions, events, or routines in organizations.
