摘要:The authors used measures of leadership, locus of control, and support for innovation to predict the consolidated-unit performance of 78 managers. 摘要:Although the dispositional approach to job satisfaction has received a good deal of recent attention, a fundamental deficiency in past dispositional research is a failure to use existing theories to explain why individuals are unhappy and dissatisfied with their jobs. 摘要:The original and revised versions of the Job Diagnostic Survey (JDS) were administered to 3,044 public sector employees in a range of jobs, and results confirmed earlier findings that a revised version of the JDS using only positively worded items better fits the five-factor structure underlying the instrument. 摘要:Longitudinal data (N=785) collected during Ss high school years(1971-1973) and in 1981 were used to assess the influence of adolescent drug use on adult job behaviors, job satisfaction, and adverse terminations while accounting for concurrent adult drug use, years of drug use, and adolescent achievement motivation. 摘要:The authors examined the impact of coaching behaviors on players' self-enhancement processes. Eight baseball coaches attended a preseason workshop designed to increase their supportiveness and instructional effectiveness. Behavioral guidelines were presented and modeled.
