摘要:We propose that organization members overestimate the degree to which others share their views on ethical matters. Further, we argue that being a broker in an advice network exacerbates this false consensus bias. That is, a high level of betweenness centrality increases an individual's estimates of agreement with others on ethical issues beyond what is warranted by any actual increase in agreement. 摘要:Agency theory suggests that managerial mischief may occur when the interests of owners and managers diverge and that a solution to this agency problem is alignment of owner and agent interests through agent compensation and equity ownership. 摘要:We propose a cross-level contingent process model based on social cognitive theory to explain how and when the quality of social exchange relationships with a supervisor (leader-member exchange; LMX) and fellow team members (team-member exchange; TMX) affect individual creativity in work teams. 摘要:The effects of intangible assets on organizational outcomes remain poorly understood. We compare the effects of two intangible assets firm reputation and celebrity on (1) the likelihood that a firm announces a positive or negative earnings surprise, and (2) investors' reactions to these surprises. 摘要:I examine the impact of the geographic distribution of R&D activity on the quality of innovation. Through an analysis of patent data from 100 firms in the global semiconductor manufacturing industry, I find that the impact of geographic distribution of R&D on innovation quality takes an inverted-U shape and that firms are heterogeneous in the benefits derived from this geographic distribution.
