摘要:Research has focused predominantly on the influence of the language firms use in their announcements on the reactions of constituents such as shareholders and the media. 摘要:Grasping the true value of ideas is essential for corporate innovation success. When it comes to forecasting the value of one's own innovation ideas, however, people may err systematically. 摘要:The paper proposes a systemic theory of rivalry that addresses a key limitation of past research by articulating how rivalry spreads across levels of analysis and between social domains. 摘要:We theorize a career resourcing process that explains how individuals can create a new profession. Using historical archives, we trace the emergence of health services research as a new research profession through the career actions of early practitioners. 摘要:We present a new theory that seeks to explain differences in the performance of men and women friendship network brokers-individuals who bridge disconnected friends. 摘要:This study proposes that CEO-CFO language style matching-a form of unconscious verbal mimicry based on function words-can provide insights into social interaction processes between CEOs and CFOs.
