摘要:Implanted biomaterials and devices face compromised functionality and efficacy in the long term owing to foreign body reactions and subsequent formation of fibrous capsules at the implant-tissue interfaces 1-4 . 摘要:A simple peptide has been found to make disordered interactions with water, forming a self-healing glass that can also be used as an adhesive coating. The findings point the way to sustainable alternatives to conventional glass.

摘要:Fentanyl is a powerful painkiller that elicits euphoria and positive reinforcement(1). Fentanyl also leads to dependence, defined by the aversive withdrawal syndrome, which fuels negative reinforcement(2,3) (that is, individuals retake the drug to avoid withdrawal).
