摘要:Plastic production reached 400 million tons in 2022 (ref. 1), with packaging and single-use plastics accounting for a substantial amount of this(2). 摘要:Ubiquitination pathways have crucial roles in protein homeostasis, signalling and innate immunity(1-3). In these pathways, an enzymatic cascade of E1, E2 and E3 proteins conjugates ubiquitin or a ubiquitin-like protein (Ubl) to target-protein lysine residues(4). 摘要:Horses revolutionized human history with fast mobility(1). However, the timeline between their domestication and their widespread integration as a means of transport remains contentious(2-4). Here we assemble a collection of 475 ancient horse genomes to assess the period when these animals were first reshaped by human agency in Eurasia.
