摘要：In this study, we characterize the optimal compensation scheme for a firm that sells a single product with a limited stocking quantity through a sales agent. Our focus is on understanding how the supply-demand mismatch costs affect the firm's optimal compensation scheme. There are two main findings. 摘要：This study investigates how the affiliation of dialysis facilities within chain organizations of varying sizes impacts efficiency and quality outcomes of these facilities. 摘要：Motivated by the recent reshoring initiatives, we study firms' global sourcing strategies from two different supply sources, offshore and onshore supply bases, under supply and demand uncertainty. 摘要：Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) is an arrangement in which a retailer allows a manufacturer to execute in-store operations such as shelf replenishments. This paper studies the economic drivers and implications of DSD for retailers and manufacturers. 摘要：We investigate whether labor unionization of customer firms affects the operating performance of their dependent suppliers. Using a sample of U.S. union elections, our regression discontinuity tests show that passing a union election leads to a 6.9 percentage-point decline in supplier operating margin in the following year.
