摘要:Integrating the work experience, leadership development, and learning literatures, we developed and tested a model of managerial development linking experience in highly developmental assignments, a learning goal orientation, and access to developmental assignments. 摘要:We investigated the extent to which venture capitalists' (VCs') perceptions of entrepreneurial passion influence the VCs' investment decisions, We defined entrepreneurial passion as an entrepreneur's intense affective state accompanied by cognitive and behavioral manifestations of high personal value. 摘要:We examine the evolution of a new population of organizations (state offices of dispute resolution) in an emerging institutional field, focusing on how actions at multiple levels interact recursively to enable multiple logics to diffuse. 摘要:This study advances understanding of network dynamics by applying matching theory to the formation of interorganizational alliances. We introduce market complementary and resource compatibility as two critical matching criteria of alliance formation and argue that good matches increase firm performance. 摘要:In this study we conducted performance assessments in 62 childcare centers and surveyed 232 teachers and aides, to examine the extent to which workers crafted their jobs and how such crafting affected classroom quality. 摘要:We examine the relationship between multimarket contact and service quality. We offer two hypotheses: (1) multimarket contact negatively affects service quality and (2) multimarket contacts in less competitive markets more negatively affect service quality. We test these hypotheses using U.S. airline on-time performance data to measure service quality. 摘要:We investigated the effects of teacher human and social capital on growth in student performance in a sample of 1,013 teachers organized into 239 grade teams. We found that teacher human capital that is specific to a setting and task, and some indicators of teacher social capital, predicted student performance improvement.
