摘要:One of the great unanswered questions in governance research is, Why do directors serve on boards? 摘要:Drawing on the ability-motivation-opportunity model, this meta-analysis examined the effects of three dimensions of HR systems-skills-enhancing, motivation-enhancing, and opportunity-enhancing-on proximal organizational outcomes (human capital and motivation) and distal organizational outcomes (voluntary turnover, operational outcomes, and financial outcomes). 摘要:Building on the literature on competing logics and the context of local banks, I explore an important outcome for entrepreneurial efforts that is reaching the point of establishment. The embeddedness of founding teams in a community logic makes them more committed and more capable of attracting local support, resulting in greater establishment rates for their enterprises. 摘要:We advance a multilevel argument that challenges and qualifies existing explanations of firms' responses to institutional pressures. In an in-depth study of 17 multinational corporations involving 359 interviews with internal and external actors, we find that firms facing identical pressures decouple policy from practice in different ways and for different reasons. 摘要:This study takes a dynamic multilevel approach to examine how the relationship between an employee's job satisfaction trajectory and subsequent turnover may change depending on the employee's unit's job satisfaction trajectory and its dispersion.
