摘要:Previous research on stigma reduction has been primarily confined to single industries. However, industry boundaries are porous in the eyes of audience members and can hardly act as artificial confines to moral reevaluations. 摘要:Teams often fail to reach their potential because members' concerns about being socially accepted prevent them from offering their unique perspectives to the team. 摘要:Firms' harm-inflicting decisions/actions can make firm leaders feel guilt toward those who are harmed, which then motivates them to make restitution through corporate philanthropy. Our primary setting for investigating this proposition is the privatization of Chinese firms. 摘要:We integrate theory and research about individuals' responses to failures and develop a model in which occupational progress failures precipitate ruminative processes that limit the extent to which individuals subsequently act as informal leaders.
