摘要:We propose a consumer demand system approach to estimating the size of the black economy where alternative hypotheses affecting the empirical results can be tested in a nested framework. 摘要:In the payoff assessment model of choice (Sarin and Vahid, 1999), only the assessment of the chosen strategy is updated. We extend that model to allow the agent to also update the assessments of strategies that the agent thinks are similar to the chosen strategy. We use this model to explain observed behaviour in a recent experiment. Statistical tests cannot distinguish between the payoff distributions generated by the model and the observed payoff distributions in almost every period.

摘要:Psychologists and sociologists usually interpret happiness scores as cardinal and comparable across respondents, and thus run OLS regressions on happiness and changes in happiness. Economists usually assume only ordinality and have mainly used ordered latent response models, thereby not taking satisfactory account of fixed individual traits. 摘要:The consequences of ambiguity for partnerships are addressed. Partnerships with symmetric linear production functions are analysed in a Choquet Expected Utility (CEU)-framework. Nash equilibrium in pure strategies is extended to CEU-games. A class of sharing rules are proposed that make constructive use of strategic ambiguity in partnerships. Results on ex ante efficiency and ex post efficiency of the outcomes are presented.

摘要:We present a new experimental investigation of preference reversal. Although economists and psychologists have suggested a variety of accounts for this phenomenon, the existing data do not adequately discriminate between them.
