摘要:Ubiquitination status of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) is crucial for regulating DNA lesion bypass. After the resolution of fork stalling, PCNA is subsequently deubiquitinated, but the underlying mechanism remains undefined. 摘要:Van Valen's law of constant extinction postulates that in comparable ecological contexts, the probability for a taxon to survive to the next time interval is independent of how long it has already existed. 摘要:Expansion of intronic GGGGCC repeats in the C9orf72 gene causes amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia. Transcription of the expanded repeats results in the formation of RNA- containing nuclear foci and altered RNA metabolism. 摘要:The melting of ice sheets and global glaciers results in sea-level rise, a pole-to-equator mass transport increasing Earth's oblateness and resulting in an increase in the length of day (LOD). Here, we use observations and reconstructions of mass variations at the Earth's surface since 1900 to show that the climate-induced LOD trend hovered between 0.3 and 1.0 ms/cy in the 20th century, but has accelerated to 1.33 +/- 0.03 ms/cy since 2000. 摘要:It is commonly held that there is a fundamental relationship between genome size and error rate, manifest as a notional error threshold that sets an upper limit on genome sizes.
