摘要:Experimental sampling from populations with 0[image][beta]1[image].5 and 2.5 [image][beta]2unspecified7.1 shows good agreement of z with Student''s results for sampling from a normal population and with Fisher''s 2 sample z-test. For a small sample there is danger with any test of accepting false values of the constants of the sampled population. 摘要:An analysis of measurements of [male] Greeks, Vlachs, Christian Bulgars, Mohammedan Bulgars, Turks, and Greek-speaking Mohammedans. On the basis of the coefficient of racial likeness the Greeks and Turks are the only intimately connected groups. Cephalic index and head breadth are the characters of most importance in differentiating the groups. Stature and nasal index differ little between groups. Qualitative characters confirm the relationships deduced from quantitative characters.

摘要:In breeding experiments on albino Pekinese and black Pomeranians, dogs were produced with pale gray or buff coats due to diffuse pigment, which the authors term Cornaz albinos; also piebald Cornaz and white, which they term skewbald. 摘要:R. A. Fisher''s test of goodness of fit of regression curves involves the assumption that the y arrays are homoscedastic normal curves. However, experimental sampling from a population with Type III curves ([beta]1 = .2; [beta]2=3.3) for y arrays and [sigma]x ranging from 5.7 to 4.6 agrees well with Fisher''s test.
