An analysis of measurements of [male] Greeks, Vlachs, Christian Bulgars, Mohammedan Bulgars, Turks, and Greek-speaking Mohammedans. On the basis of the coefficient of racial likeness the Greeks and Turks are the only intimately connected groups. Cephalic index and head breadth are the characters of most importance in differentiating the groups. Stature and nasal index differ little between groups. Qualitative characters confirm the relationships deduced from quantitative characters.
