摘要:This article investigates a challenging open problem of convergence analysis of sampled-data iterative learning control for locally Lipschitz continuous (LLC) nonlinear nonaffine continuous-time systems. The restrictive repetitive conditions are relaxed by taking the LLC nonlinear nonaffine systems with iteratively variant initial states, reference trajectories, and exogenous disturbances into consideration. A new convergence analysis method is proposed by incorporating the mathematical induct...

摘要:We present some new results on the dynamic regressor extension and mixing parameter estimators for linear regression models recently proposed in the literature. This technique has proven instrumental in the solution of several open problems in system identification and adaptive control. The new results include the following, first, a unified treatment of the continuous and the discrete-time cases; second, the proposal of two new extended regressor matrices, one which guarantees a quantifiable ...

摘要:A Boolean control network (BCN) is a discrete-time dynamical system whose variables take values from a binary set {0, 1}. At each time step, each variable of the BCN updates its value simultaneously according to a Boolean function which takes the state and control of the previous time step as its input. Given an ordered pair of states of a BCN, we define the set of reachable time steps as the set of positive integer k's where there exists a control sequence such that the BCN can be steered fro...

摘要:We consider a general class of dynamic programming (DP) problems with nonseparable objective functions. We show that for any problem in this class, there exists an augmented-state DP problem that satisfies the principle of optimality and the solutions to which yield solutions to the original problem. Furthermore, we identify a subclass of DP problems with naturally forward separable objective functions for which this state-augmentation scheme is tractable. We extend this framework to stochasti...

摘要:This article systematically studies consensus of linear multiagent systems (MASs) on directed graphs through adaptive event-triggered control. It presents innovative adaptive event-triggered state-feedback protocols with novel composite event-triggering conditions. Two specific designs in terms of different event-triggering conditions and laws of adaption are first discussed for linear MASs on strongly connected directed graphs, which are then extended to general directed graphs that contain a...

摘要:The stability of two-dimensional (2-D) linear systems, continuous, discrete, and mixed (hybrid) cases with real or complex coefficients, is considered in this article using a single formalism. Algebraic necessary and sufficient conditions for testing the stability of these systems are developed. The conditions are based on the characteristic polynomial to be void of zero in the stability region which depends on the case being considered. These conditions consist of the stability test of few re...

摘要:In this article, we present a novel control approach for formally solving reach-avoid problems for constrained and disturbed nonlinear systems by optimizing over reachable sets. Reach-avoid problems arise in many modern control applications of safety-critical systems, such as autonomous driving and human-robot collaboration. They require us to control all states from a set of initial states in finite time into a final set while guaranteeing the satisfaction of state and input constraints despi...

摘要:A model predictive control algorithm based on offline optimization of prediction dynamics enables an efficient online computation. However, the price for this efficiency is a reduction in the degree of optimality. This article presents a new method for overcoming this weakness, yielding a significant improvement in the degree of optimality, and achieving this with no increase in an online computational load. Two numerical examples with comparison to earlier solutions from the literature illust...

摘要:The boundary stabilization problem of a star-shaped type II thermoelastic system is considered, where there is a nonuniform bounded disturbance at the control end. A time-varying extended state observer is proposed to estimate and cancel the disturbance, thereby largely removing the uncertainties and simplifying the feedback control law design. The exponential stability is shown for the extended state observer, so are the well-posedness properties of the closed-loop system, all based on the li...

摘要:This article studies the event-triggered control problem for nonholonomic systems in the chained form with disturbances and drift uncertain nonlinearities. Both the cases of state-feedback and output-feedback are investigated. To address the effects of nonholonomic constraints in event-triggered control, a new systematic design integrating a state-scaling technique and set-valued maps are proposed. A crucial strategy is to transform the event-triggered control system into an interconnection of...
