摘要:The Hunt-Minnesota Test consists of 3 divisions: (1) a vocabulary test relatively insensitive to brain damage, (2) a group of tests sensitive to deterioration, and (3) a group of 9 interpolated tests. The vocabulary score, taken with consideration of the subjects'' age, is supposed to determine the score level at which he is expected to function on the sensitive tests. The deterioration scores determine the actual level at which he is functioning. A T-Score above 66 signifies organic brain dam...

摘要:At the request of the Inter-Society Color Council, a color matching test was developed suitable for testing this ability among textile dyers and workers in other industries where color matching plays an important role. The final form of this edition of the test consists of 40 mounted chips on a neutral gray background and 40 unmounted chips. The color chips form a saturation series of finely graded steps. The best illumination for giving the test is a uniform spread of light in the neighborhoo...

摘要:Twelve male college students, 18-21 yrs., free from systemic defects at medical examination, served as subjects. The method of observing effects of O2 deprivation involved the subjects'' ability to hear and to indicate on a check-list words in common speech at sea level, and at simulated altitudes of 13,600, 16,900 and 20,100 ft. in a nitrogen dilution chamber of 450 cu. ft. capacity. Temp. was constant at 74[degree] F with 60% rel. humidity. Air samples by Haldane-Henderson-Baily gas analysis...

摘要:The Shipley-Hartford Retreat Test was designed as an aid in detecting mild degrees of intellectual deterioration in individuals of dull normal or higher original intelligence. The test consists of 2 parts, a vocabulary test and an abstractions test. Performance on the multiple-choice vocabulary test can be used as an approximation of original intelligence because vocabulary ability is less resistant to change than the ability to do abstract thinking, and because vocabulary performance correlat...

摘要:A group of 200 men ranging in age from 17 to 56 was given 3 tests for color vision: (1) Pseudo-Isochromatic Plates by American Optical Co., (2) Tests for Color Blindness by Ishihara, and (3) Tests for Color Blindness by Milton B. Jensen. The pseudo-isochromatic test of 48 plates is similar to the Ishihara 13 plate test in that each plate has dotted numbers or letters on it in a different color or different shade of color from the dotted background. The test by Jensen has 4 plates all of which ...

摘要:The Hunt-Minnesota test was given to a group of 15 persons with functional depressions, of whom 9 were psychotic and 6 neurotic. All were between the ages of 34 and 55, and were neurologically and serologically negative for organic brain damage. None had a history of alcohol or drug addiction, head trauma, or encephalitis. Six were under mild sedation (amytal, nembutal or seconal) at the time of testing, but it had been shown previously that sedation even at its height did not alter test resul...
