摘要：Cross-boundary collaboration is a common strategy used to address environmental issues, but scholars do not yet fully understand what makes a difference in the outcomes of externally directed collaborations. To fill this gap, we examine whether a piece of state legislation that authorizes collaborative watershed restoration projects improves water quality. 摘要：Organizational legitimacy is essential for effective crisis governance. This study analyzes the rapid erosion of legitimacy faced by the German State Office for Health and Social Affairs (LAGeSo) during the 2015 refugee crisis, triggering cascading failures in public service delivery. 摘要：The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) is in a position to respond to current threats to public administration. ASPA is a curator of knowledge and can help achieve the key ideas of the United States of America. We should advance the science of administration by improving our theories. While we have not achieved the ideals the founding of the United States, we should continue to strive to improve governance.
