摘要:The Australian natives belong to only 2 closely allied racial types, one probably confined to the Northern Territory and differing from the 2nd in having a smaller brain case and slightly different proportions of height to length and breadth. The Tasmanian skulls are quite widely differentiated from the Australian. The measurements do not support the view that the 2 races are ultra primitive as compared with all other modern races.

摘要:An analysis of Galton''s data, with a review of the literature. The characters dealt with are visual acuity and strength of grip. No correlation is found between ocular and manual laterality or between either and age. These results contradict the conclusion of van Biervliet, Humphry, Callan, Gould, LeConte, and Parson, that the dominant eye and the dominant hand are always on the same side.

摘要:An analysis of Spearman and Holzinger''s work on the sampling errors of tetrads. The authors conclude that Spearman and Holzinger''s approximate formulae lead to serious errors, that the distribution of tetrads is not likely to follow a normal curve, and that the hypothesis of a general factor in intelligence is not proved.

摘要:The best index of the size of the thyroid is its maximum breadth; the circumference or diam. of the neck is of little value, and estimation by visual judgment is subject to large personal equations. The frequency of goiter increases until about 13-14 yrs. in boys, about 17-18 in girls, and then decreases.
