摘要：We consider a periodic review, single-stage inventory system with multiple demand classes and a fixed replenishment lead time. Inventory expediting is allowed to alleviate demand-supply mismatches. 摘要：Our research focuses on the storage decision in a semi-automated storage system, where the inventory is stored on mobile storage pods. 摘要：We develop a model of oligopoly competition involving innovation effort, market entry and production flexibility under demand uncertainty. Several heterogeneous firms make efforts to develop new prototypes; if they succeed, they hold a shared option to enter a new market under stochastic demand. 摘要：Should brands selling status goods design high-end and low-end products to look the same or different? In this paper, we study how brands make this aesthetic design differentiation decision.
