摘要:This research examined gender differences in self-pay expectations and the factors that mediate these differences. On the basis of Major and Konar's (1984) model, five mediators were considered: career paths, objective job inputs, perceived job inputs, job facet importance, and social comparison standards. 摘要:This study assessed the differences and similarities in values among practicing managers in the United States, Hong Kong, and the People's Republic of China. The Chinese Value Survey (CVS), an instrument based on Eastern cultural values, was used instead of the typically used Western instruments. 摘要:Recruiters from 8 telecommunications companies interviewed applicants or incumbents in four studies of the psychometric properties of structured behavioral interviews for management and marketing positions. 摘要:Confirmatory factor analyses of a priori models of psychological climate were conducted with data collected from 18,457 sales personnel in 567 stores in five regions of a national retail organization. 摘要:Recent applications of latent variable modeling (LVM) of reciprocal relationships involving employee attitudes were examined with regard to assumptions made about unmeasured variables and correlations among residuals of structural equations. 摘要:The effectiveness of overlearning in enhancing performance has been acknowledged by researchers within the training community for years. In spite of this general consensus, the empirical basis for this claim is often not clear. This article presents a meta-analysis of the effects of overlearning on retention.
