摘要:Drawing on data from an ethnographic study of the introduction and implementation of a flexible work policy intended in part to improve gender equality at a STEM professional organization, I develop grounded theory on how managers' gender shapes their implementation of such initiatives. 摘要:Why do firms take positions on divisive social issues? In this article, I draw on theories of stigma by association to explain why firms' mere proximity to controversial political actors may lead stakeholders to presume that firms silent on social issues are misaligned with the stakeholders' sociopolitical preferences. 摘要:We explore the interplay between homophilic preferences, reciprocity, and societal values in the formation of venture capital investment syndicates in China. 摘要:The misuse of prescription drugs is a pressing public health crisis in the United States that is fueled by high-risk prescribing.
