  摘要：We considered the role of strategic choice and institutional factors in influencing how managers have addressed workplace substance abuse. Substance abuse prevention program adoption was examined in a sample of 360 establishments. Normative pressure, reflected by changes in media discourse about substance abuse, was related to adoption of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and drug-testing programs.
