摘要:How does the legitimacy conferred on entrepreneurial endeavors affect the legitimacy of subsequent ones? We extend the notion of a legitimacy threshold to develop and test a recursive model of legitimacy. 摘要:In this research, we ask whether and how founders bring about business model innovation. Grounded in an in-depth longitudinal multiple-case study, our analysis reveals three practices that help explain how founders' thinking patterns and behaviors shape business model innovation in their ventures: industry-spanning search, complex system thinking style, and powerful centralized decision making. 摘要:When actors transgress social norms, their social status colors the severity with which they are punished. While some argue that high-status transgressors attract severe punishment when accused of ambiguous transgressions, others contend the opposite.
