摘要:The neoclassical model of trade predicts that international specialization will be jointly determined by cross-country differences in relative factor endowments and technology levels. This paper specifies an empirical model of specialization consistent with the neoclassical explanation. 摘要:Recent theoretical models of entry predict that, in the presence of sunk costs, current market participation is affected by prior experience. This paper quantifies the effect of prior exporting experience on the decisions of Colombian manufacturing plants to participate in foreign markets.
